Proseminar “Hacking” was awarded for best teaching

Busy_Beaver_crop The CISPA seminar Hacking in the summer term 2014 received the Best Teaching Award by the students’ representative council of Saarland University on October 20, 2014. Hacking is an interdisciplinary seminar of IT security and legal informatics, which was offered for the first time and received outstanding feedback from the students. Laureates are Michael Backes, Sven Bugiel, Stefan Nürnberger and Philipp von Styp-Rekowsky from the CS department and Christoph Sorge and Frederik Möllers from the Legal Informatics Group at the law department.

We plan to annually offer the successful seminar as part of the new Bachelor study in cyber security.
